No official Windows 11 support for any Intel Mac devices

Intel’s own Windows 10 support for Intel-based Macs is still in its infancy, with an October 2017 update for Boot Camp beta support to run Windows 10 on Macs with an Intel processor. While seeing Windows 10 on MacBook Pros will still be a reality in the future, it may not be until Intel releases its 7th generation of processors (which is expected in 2018).

The Microsoft Windows 10 operating system is supported on a wide range of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and game consoles, and it has attracted a loyal following of users who are eager to upgrade to the most recent version of Windows. But, unfortunately, Apple isn’t yet on board with the same enthusiasm and interest. Even though the company recently released the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, the company has no plans in the foreseeable future to release a version of Mac OS X that is compatible with Windows 10.

MacOS Sierra is the latest version of Apple OS X, and it’s soon going to be the operating system that powers all the company’s devices. Since it’s the first time Apple has ever released a version of its operating system without official support for Windows, most of these devices will continue to run Windows.. • Users should pay attention to the system requirements of Windows 11 before deciding which device to run it on.
  • Intel Mac devices will not officially support Microsoft’s new operating system due to the lack of TPM 2.0 support.
  • Apple has never offered support for TPM 2.0 on Intel Macs, which means all models are incompatible.
  • Even when running the PC Health Check application on these devices, users receive a message stating that Windows 11 cannot be run on that computer.

Microsoft on Thursday unveiled Windows 11, the next major update to its PC operating system.

And while the new operating system has an updated design and the ability to run emulated Android applications, not all users will be able to install and run this new version.

A very important fact to know when deciding which device to use Windows 11 onThe new operating system is not officially supported by any Intel Mac.

Windows 11 is not as accessible as we first thought

As an operating system, Windows is generally known for its ability to run on multiple machines. This year, however, Microsoft has decided to increase the hardware requirements to run its new operating system.

The upgrade requires a 64-bit processor 1 GHz or higher, at least 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of hard drive space, a DirectX 12 compatible graphics card, and support for TPM 2.0.

More and more users are not asking themselves an important question: But what about Macs?

The problem is that even if you have a Mac with the latest generation of Intel processors, you probably won’t be able to run Windows 11 on it, at least not officially.

As you may know, Apple never offered TPM 2.0 support for Intel Macs, which means not all models are compatible with the latest version of Windows.

So, naturally, if you run a program from Microsoft that checks if your PC has the required hardware for Windows 11, you get a message that Windows 11 can’t run.

In theory, Apple could update the firmware of its Intel machines to enable TPM 2.0 support.

However, this seems unlikely since Apple is phasing out Intel Macs and the new M1 Macs are not compatible with any version of Windows.

In short, for users who want to run Windows 11 on a Mac PC, the only option at the moment is to use a virtual machine, as it is not possible to run it via Boot Camp.
